Welcome to Mountview Farm
Mountview Farm is situated in a quiet, tranquil setting at the heart of Tyrone, Northern Ireland.
We are placed within a stretch of undulating countryside, an area of rugged beauty which is regarded by many as the gateway to the sperrin mountains.
A combination of a mild climate, rich limestone soils, crystal clean environment topped up with lots of Irish drizzle has proved to be unbeatable for producing horses.
Our farm is approximately 5 km outside the town of Omagh, Co. Tyrone and just one hour from the nearest airport.
The Irish Horse
Over the years the Irish horse has been exported all around the world and is widely accepted as one of the finest and most consistent competition horses for eventing, show jumping, hunting or pleasure.
The Irish land and rural economy has been the basis for producing horses renowned throughout the world for their athleticism, ability and temperament.
For generations the Irish have worked with horses on the land and our love for horses can be seen while visiting our countryside.
We breed, raise and compete sport horses on a hobby basis which are predominantly Irish, but some with that flavour of continental bloodlines. Over the years this crossing has proved to be the perfect blend.
The Irish sport horse is a sought
after breed for showjumping,
eventing and pleasure. We use
bloodlines such as First Consul,
Carrick Diamond Lad, Cruising,
Carrick Clover and more, to breed
and produce the next super star
in the ring.
